With the Christian Book Publishing Association (CBP) having just closed its doors, it’s time to look for a new publisher for Christian books.
As with many other publishing companies in this arena, BP is offering a free “soft launch” for new Christian booksellers in the hopes that they will adopt their practices.
What does a soft launch offer?
As with most of the companies offering soft launches, there are two main benefits to getting one: a) The book will be delivered via Amazon and B&N’s digital delivery services, and b) the book will not have to be purchased separately from other copies of the same book.
In addition to the benefits listed above, BP offers two additional things for new bookseller: a.)
Free book copies of books sold in its “CBP Soft Launch” will be provided to anyone who signs up for its free service.
If you don’t have a book that you’d like to sell, you can sign up for the BP “CBT Book Launch” program.
The book can be delivered in either a Kindle eBook or e-book format.
If your book is a Kindle book, the Kindle eBook format will be available for purchase through the BP Amazon store.
If the book is e-readers, the book can also be purchased through the Amazon Kindle store.
While BP offers the two free ebook formats, there is no way to get the book on Kindle.
That said, you don,t need to use a Kindle reader to download a book from the BP store.
As a bookseller, you do not need to have a Kindle to use the BP Kindle store, and there are plenty of other options for reading Christian literature online.
If it’s your first time with the BP site, you’ll want to check out our ebook store.
This way, you won’t have to worry about downloading a new book or paying for it.
